What's In A Name? North Kiteboarding Will Now Be Called Duotone

June 23, 2018

North Kiteboarding has sailed away, in blows DUOTONE!  Before you start freaking out, don’t worry. The creators of the worlds most popular kite gear are still behind the helm and will be christening the 2019 gear under a new brand name and logo.

The big change begins on August 1st, 2018.  For all the North fanatics out there, there is nothing to fear.  This is still True Kiteboarding through and through. In a clamshell, the only thing changing is the name (Duotone, of snowboarding fame) and the Logo.

The badass models continue on,  from the new Rebel to the Neo, the X-Ride, Jaime and Whip.  Even the popular Click Bar and Entity Straps are coming along for this wild ride.  The entire Boards and More crew will be on board as well.  All the team riders, designers, factories and even the innovative materials will be on this trip.  Only the name of the ship has changed.

Take a look at this awesome interview with the Managing Director of Boards and More  Till Eberle HERE   If you are starting to get heart palpitations or seeing double, don’t worry we are here for you.  Give us a call.  Take a deep breath and come along for the journey.  IT IS EXCITING!
