Launch Area
The launch area is a dirt parking lot just off the causeway and directly on the water. Drive up, park next to the water, throw your kite out the window and pump up. It's that easy. There is a grassy area between the road and parking area for rigging and packing down. You can also set up right near the water.
Wind Direction
South East is the magic direction. It is a perfect offshore wind.
Conditions
The water is very shallow near shore, which makes for perfect flat water and easy relaunching. It is a sandy, muddy bottom. We recommend wearing booties and take care when walking in the water. This is a high traffic area (fishing, boating, recreation) and there may be objects left in the water and near the water's edge (bottles, fishing supplies, etc).

Be respectful of fisherman and recreational users near shore. They like a good show, but try to stay at least 100 feet aw
