The Crazyfly 2023 Raptor Extreme is a high-performance freeride and big air kiteboard that is designed to handle hard landings from high jumps. Developed with Big Air World Champion Posito Martinez, the Raptor Extreme is based on the legendary Raptor shape but is specifically built and shaped for big air.

One of the main design goals of the Raptor Extreme is to have as much pop as possible. This is achieved through a full carbon layup, which keeps the weight low while providing extreme strength and higher heel to toe stiffness for increased pop. The Raptor Extreme has a more squared outline than the Raptor, which maximizes the area of the tips for better load and pop.

The board features an edge control track on the bottom for added grip and a subtle center Vee for more speed under control. The Raptor Extreme also has a bottom sheet grind base from wakeboards, which is extremely tough and durable. A Nano Glide Skin on the bottom of the board helps the board track and go upwind better thanks to its micro channels, while the top of the board has a brand new matt overprint for a premium look.

The Raptor Extreme works with pads and straps, as well as with wake bindings. It is available in sizes 132 x 41, 135 x 41, 138 x 42, 140 x 42, and 142 x 43.

Other features of the Raptor Extreme include Quadraxial Carbon layup for extreme strength and pop, Fusion Side Walls for ultimate strength, Wood Core for precise shaping, and Invisible Inserts for a beautiful united surface on the bottom of the board. The Step Cap technology allows for thinner rails, which enhances the upwind and tracking abilities of the board, while the V Tips shape provides excellent upwind and plenty of grip for loading up jumps.

Better grip - In 2017, we introduced Nano Glide Skin on the bottom of the Raptor and Raptor LTD boards and we are still the only brand to offer this innovative technology on kiteboards.
